Community Pride

We all take pride in the overall perception of our community and school system. Shared enjoyment of successful sports programs creates great community conversation as well as heightened school spirit and unity. The appreciation of a beautiful music concert leaves us with a warm feeling in our hearts. Our children gaining acceptance into institutions of higher learning instills a sense of accomplishment. However, this feeling of pride doesn't cease the day our children conclude their Fenton Public School experience. As our children succeed and become adults, we will continue to have awareness of their great triumphs not just locally, but around the world.

Economic Growth

Strong schools have the ability to make a substantial, positive impact on the local economy and on local businesses that depend on revenue from the community for profit and stability. Local consumerism is at the core of strong local businesses' success. However, a positive community image is essential to draw patrons from outside the nearby area as well. Distinguished schools also impact large corporations that need to recruit talent locally, regionally, and from abroad. In order to attract the best professional talent, there must be a desirable school system and a thriving community to entice an individual and his/her family to relocate to Fenton. The healthcare industry and its needs are a perfect example Physicians and staff will be drawn by what our community has to offer, bringing with them new facilities, jobs, improved care and a better quality of life

Community Value

Strong schools provide more for the community than nurturing and sculpting our children. They help yield higher property values, safer neighborhoods, and a stronger local economy. It is apparent what has been occurring with home values and the housing market in the Midwest. By stimulating the local economy and promoting families to move to the area, our local housing market will become stronger. A more desirable locality to live in will retain and increase home value better than less desirable areas. This not only has a positive effect on the value of our homes, but on the value of small businesses and overall property in our community.
